ART AUCTION SUCCESS!

Congratulations to Klimb's Keith and Kingsley for organising such a great event last night. 
A full house made bids on some terrific pieces of artwork from a wide variety of artists. A final flurry of manic bidding caused near punch ups to get the most popular artworks! Klimb's treasure and treasurer, the lovely Leanne is still counting the money raised. 
We had Crazy Cat Caroline selling those bags and badges, Glamour puss Chloe (and her mum) flogging the raffle tickets (Now who won the X factor tickets?)  Hot DJ Mark spinnin' the discs plus Miss Pauline and Garry Guess holding the bar and of course, Klimb's head chef Mr Garner Banana whipping the punters into a fever on the microphone. A great night to boost team Klimb UP THE MANJARO!

Team Klimb's very own Susie Sweet tooth has once again put her culinary expertise to fine use to benefit our charities by inviting guests to her POP up restaurant last sunday.

With only one week to go until the intrepid Klimb team leave the UK, all the stops are being pulled to generate money for our charities!

Meanwhile, Klimb's crazy cat Caroline has been in the kitchen baking Klimb Cookies and selling them to those lovelies at M&S.

The lovely Pauline has been busy flogging our stylishly fashion conscious bags and badges and top chef Susie Cup Cakes has been busy knocking up delights in her kitchen too. More details on that when I get 'em.

Cup the Manjaro!

Susie sweet tooth Gibson has been putting her culinary talents to work for our charities by baking Kili Cup Cakes for the staff at her office. Those luscious cup cakes brought in a tasty £180. 
On a roll with the cooking, Susie knocked up a Master Chef worthy Paella for TEN hungry folks and made another £190.
Now all they need is a bag and a badge to go with it.

The Children's Book Illustration Auction raised a mountainous £7000 + !

All thanks goes to the talented illustrators who donated artwork to the auction. It made a fantastic collection of artwork any West End gallery would be proud of. Thank you to those who came, made bids and bought on the night. Not only did we go home with great art, we helped a whole bunch of kids and had fun doing so too.

A special thanks to Sarah McIntyre who drew to order at the "Draw Whatever You Like" easel and Neil from PLANarama for manning the SPIN&WIN! and to everyone who contributed. 

And of course, Klimb's very own Simon Garner for being such a terrific auctioneer!

Caroline's Summer Quiz Night!

Awe, and what a Quiz Night it was! Team Klimb got a bit tipsy that's for sure. 
Well done Caroline for organising a great night out and raising a POT of cash for our charities, Chance UK and TAS. Keep wearing the badges!
